Join us at the beautiful Finding Hearts Farm in Frederick, Maryland to study the Let Animals Lead® Method of Animal Reiki alongside a lovable and spunky herd! Horses are such generous teachers, it will be a unique experience to learn the foundations of Reiki with them.

In this course, we explore:

• How to cultivate a daily self-practice alongside animals 

• The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics & the Six Pillars of Animal Reiki 

• Techniques for grounding, expansion, and connection to help you become a magnet to even the most sensitive animals

• The traditional Japanese meaning of Reiki and how it relates to the healing of self and others

• Traditional practice of Joshin Kokyu Ho and Seishin Toitsu, and how to use them with animals

• Reiki Precept meditations and how to use with animals

• Hands-on Reiki self-treatment, and how to incorporate animals into these sessions

• Best ethics for sharing Reiki with animals

• Reiki chair sessions for people

• Techniques for grounding, expansion, and connection to help you become an animal magnet to even the most sensitive animals!

• A philosophy of "being" Reiki "with" your animals, rather than "doing" Reiki "to" them.

25% of proceeds will go to an animal charity of Annie's choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't have experience with horses?

No worries! We will discuss protocol for staying safe when sharing space with horses. You do not have to do anything you are not comfortable with. You must wear close toed-shoes.

What is the time commitment?

You will be expected to attend both in-person sessions for the entire time (1:00-4:30) and complete homework/reading assignments to receive your certificate. Homework each week should be about 3 hours throughout the week. The more effort you put into the experience, the more you will gain.

What do I need to bring to class?

An email will be sent out prior to class, but in general, you will need: close toed shoes, a chair to sit in, something to write with, sun protection, raincoat, water/snack and an open mind!

What is the online learning space?

We will use Google Classroom, a very user-friendly platform to communicate between classes, sharing homework, reflections and resources.

What materials are included?

You will receive a beautiful resource, the Level One Animal Reiki in the Let Animals Lead® Method Shoden Manual. This invaluable book is packed with over 250 pages of reflections, techniques, stories, & history of Reiki and the Let Animals Lead Method®. You will return to it again & again!

Can I bring my own horse to class?

The herd at Finding Hearts Farm will be our generous guides for this course. You will be able to take what you learn immediately back to your barn and home to share with your companions.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds for courses are issued on a case-by-case basis prior to the start date and time of a course. However, once a course has begun and is in progress, no refunds will be issued.
